Old Ben was, on the surface, no different from any other wastelander. but for a stranger to come running up trying to make sure you don't get shot without wanting anything for his trouble is rare these days. when you stop and chat, share a whiskey and ignore the robots as best you can, you find out some things. a unique individual and a remarkable human being, Ben's soft spoken determination in the face of New New Vegas is a testament... to what, im not yet certain.
