Finally, I get to port my stuff!

Well, I finally got around to start moving my work over to New Vegas, I used to make mods for FO3 exclusively but as of lately I've been shifting to New Vegas, I'll still be around FO3 though. So the first actual mod I'll make for NV will be a port of the Wasteland Looter armor, which has been updated with the helmet seen in the image (still working on it, and it will be backported to FO3 as well).
So far so good, the helmet is still in the works (still testing it, and I haven't distributed it yet) while the armor is already finished. Armor distribution works flawlessly, it integrates into New Vegas very well, and it's now waiting on the helmet to be done.
One thing I'll try to do with the helmet is apply the female helmet mesh onto the male character, cause the one guys get just looks... ugh! I won't be using a vanilla one, that's for sure, vanilla male motorcycle helmet makes men look like lollipops compared to a female version.
All in all, the armor is nearing completion so I decided to show it off a bit before I finish it off and upload. :)

Anyway, I worked up the distribution, cleaned up the plugin by removing redundant entries, now I just need to test it and merge it with the main one if it works the way I want it to (it does, but I'll still test it). I have a strict policy of making each experiment in a separate plugin to avoid pollution, them merging with the main once it proves 100% functional, that way I avoid doing everything from scratch in case something goes bonkers.
And I even managed to get the female helmet onto a male character this morning (click for full-size image):
Worked like a charm out-of-the-box, didn't need any modifications what so ever, just smack the female mesh into the male model field and done. I like it when things just work.
