It's not rusty since it's made of composite materials. There are barely any rusty looking classics. You don't want a rusted gun that would blow up in your hands do you?
To my knowledge you can't have burst fire in Fallout New Vegas unless you count the automatic weapons in VATS. But I don't like the "feel" of a fully automatic shotgun. But for them who disagrees with me they can just change that in the GECK
There are mods that enable burst-fire for (most) full-auto weapons. My preference is JIP's Select-Fire, because it's nice and simple to use, literally just plug-and-play.

I love it, but wasn't it burst capable? I remember using this baby to lure a few assholes just around the corner and tearing them to shreds with quick bursts.

It seems that there are a LOT of classics popping up these days! First you release the Classic 10mm SMG, then we hear amsoho75gr is making his own version of Apocalypse Armory, now you give us a high quality City Killer! Seems like New Vegas modding is peaking again!
