    I'd say keep the finger movement, but make it "all at once", fidgeting the entire hand in one go as opposed to the different fingers.

      If you mean the first person views (I think idle animations in CSS skins are called 'origins') - then yes they're quite low - but thats simply because the weapon isn't shouldered. In real life, you don't see a perfect side profile of the weapon from stock to muzzle, unless its pressed against your face - or you look down at it. This illustrates my point rather well.

    So much yes!

    Keep the finger movements. The one thing that I dislike seeing in FNV was no animations for the player. I like the idle movements. Adds more 'life' to your character.

    Great idea to add the fingers movement. But these movements are too frequent, I think.

      I see what you mean by too frequent...when I look at the 3rd person clips. But when I look at the 1st person ones - the frequency seems far more natural. Is it just me and my weird perspective?

      No, it's not just you. I talked about 3d person .gif. In 1st person it looks normally.

    Wow this is some excellent work so far. I would definitely go with the animated fingers. Reminds me of the idle animations in Far Cry 3 if you've ever played that. If anything, the movements look alot less robotic than not having any movement at all and personally, I would like to see them on all the weapon idle animations. Just my opinion.

    I like the finger movements, they just add to the feel of it. he he... get it? feel? cause its... Ok I'm done here.
