About this image
Not the most original screen, I know, but today I found myself wondering why it was that ENBs which feature a letterbox effect don't always seem to follow cinematic aspect ratios such as 1.85:1 or 2.35:1. After a few minutes of tinkering, I adjusted mine to fit 2.35:1 and this is the result.
So what do you illustrious image sharers think? Do the "cinematic" benefits outweigh any possible detrimental effects on gameplay? Also, this is using the game's default FOV of 75°- do you think a different FOV would benefit more or less?
Lastly, I feel like I'd be lax if I didn't mention that this is regular ol' Enhanced Shaders, which doesn't usually feature a letterbox effect at all, but which benefits greatly from the addition, in my humble opinion.

I like this particular ratio too, although I admit that I'm technically fudging it by just dropping in the letterboxing. Overall, though, I think it looks nice and it reminds me of classic CinemaScope presentations and brings a certain "theatricality" to the precedings.
