About this image

This is a caption taken when i walked over blurry ground as shown in the"Lod bug 1) picture. sorry should have mentioned this earlier.

i have a strange problem with the LOD in-game, it stays rely blurry until i practically stand on it, then it loads to the proper texture. What can cause this bug, and is it a way to fix it?

I think there is a connection between the timescale and the loading of LOD, when you decrease time rate so does the loading of details, so its some calculation of the time it takes to move across a cell and the loading of details, to sum up: if the timescale is very slow the LOD is to. Im no expert on this field but it seems logical to me.

I went inside Doc Mitchel's house and adjusted the timescale in the Cheat Terminal from Default to Realtime, when i then stepped outside i got this lod bug again, i then went inside and adjusted it back to default and it was gone, do you run it in realtime?

Hey again. I'm glad you fixed the problem. Since it was the More Perks mod, you're probably right in that it was the large number of script effects. Most likely it was that more resources than should ever be used for the scripts were indeed being used, thus everything else but more prominently the Land detail, lacked the resources it actually needed.

Effectively, the script effects of the perks gained higher priority than anything else.

If you wanted to keep your old save you can still do so, you'll just need to have the More Perks.esp enabled, then manually remove all the new perks added by the mod via the console (player.removeperk?), then disable the .esp and the issue should be gone for that save.

So i started a new character, cheated my way to a LvL 30 with all skills and attributes maxed and a large number of perks (Original) and the problems gone. so it probably boils down to the number or the script effects of perks. I am not quite certain of this, seems weird perks would affect the LOD but thats the way it is, if anyone who have some insight on this could comment it would be brilliant.

OK, so i tried to run FNV with the More perks disabeled, and the bug still appears, i then try to run the game from the start, from a savegame right after the character creation etc (no perks) and then the problem is gone, almost sure it has something to do with the More Perks mod, i cant find another reasonable explanation, since if the problem was with the original perks it would be a wider known problem. I'l try to start a new game without the more perks mod and then reply.

Thanks for all the support so far

might be the perk-thingy... tho i'd still think its rather an engine related issue... if you think its one or mutliple conflicting mods try disabling/deactivating some [all] and see whether the problem persists... if not you could try by slowly singleing the problem-mod out...

Problem still appears with Enhanced Shaders. I think it might have something to do with level and amount of perk since the problem occurred after i altered my character with the Cheat Terminal mod.
