I thought you said (a LOOOOONG time ago) that you didn't want to do energy weapons. Nevertheless, this is awesome!

Does this mean we'll see laser stuff from you ? Is it at least a small possibility?

Probably not for New Vegas, possibly for Fallout 4 though.

Hey man I've never used energy weapons because I don't like the way they look/small selection so I'll take anything I can get.

Considering beth went full PBR for their shading in FO 4, are you switching over to it as well? And if you do, do you plan on possibly making a small additional video to your Ithaca Tutorial to detail how one can possibly convert or what needs to be changed to use PBR?

Model is looking great as always, your work and the recent FO 4 announcement has really gotten me back into Game Art, keep it up!

My newer textures (everything since the TOZ-34) are actually all authored as PBR and just converted manually to suit New Vegas better after finishing them. I'll probably do a PBR texturing tutorial some time around FO4 release so people can learn how to utilize it. Glad to hear you're getting back into game art, it's so much fun!

Just out of curiosity, when you start making mods for Fallout 4, will you make a bunch of mods for the weapon like they'll have in the base game? Or will it be similar to New Vegas where you ust make a few?

Depends, for something like this I'd kinda struggle to match the amount in the base game. We'll see what I can come up with.

I'd be happy with the standard 2-3 mods as in NV. Although, I'm more interested in what sort of system FO4 uses to change the weapon models. If the devs have any interest in keeping disk space and filesizes down, they would have to use some kind of node attachment to swap portions of the gun model out for others, instead of NV's system of using an entirely different model.

      Any thoughts on it, Mil?

Yeah there's no way they built them like NV, it would be way too much work to manage all the separate .nifs. I'd bet money on a node based attachment system.

Fantastic work as always. For some reason, this gun reminds me of the COP .357 derringer.
