I think we need more rivets.

    Attach ALL the rivets!

Lol, this is (basically) the rivet distribution in the original mesh, And there's already so many things different, I'll try my best to keep as much as i can the same

It is my dream to eventually have a suit of armor composed of almost entirely rivets. Of course, I say 'almost' because you obviously need to drill the rivets into a sheet of cardboard in order to hold them all. Then, with said rivet plate, all the known galaxy will tremble before my onslaught!

      And yours too, I guess.

      What a riveting revelation.

...I'll go sit in the corner now.

I usually play my characters as snipers with light armor.

But for stuff like this, I will gladly do one that wears heavy armor.Looking good!

Beautiful work. Are you making the low poly as you go?

I usually start with a sort of Mid-Poly, where it's basically the low poly, but no UV maps, no triangulation, and no optimization. From there I save it as 2 files. One is UV mapped, optimized (Etc) to make the Low-Poly. The other is Turbo-smoothed and has all the fine detail added. To me, this is the easiest way of doing it
