About this image

GO HERE
(this version is kind of broken)

(Re-uploaded. I accidentally deleted the old image, sorry) This image shows two variants of the T-60 Ièm making. The standard one (on the ground) And the Cubic Boron Nitride version. The β-BN variant is an end-game armor, which is lighter than the standard t-60 (But still significantly heavier than vanilla PA) and unparalleled durability and DT.

I have decided to release an Alpha of this mod, found here;    https://drive.google.com/file/d/0ByA6c4Si8gnRalhETi1BNjd3WW8/view?usp=sharing

The alpha has 3 variants of the armor, and lots of bugs. There's a few skinning problems, and there's no "Pipboy on" part of the arm, so if you have a pipboy 3000 (or Pimpboy 3 billion) there will be no left forearm. The standard and fire variants can be found at marked locations (Military truck, a location added by this mod, and outside the Searchlight Fire Station) and the β-BN variant is on a patrol (Marked in a new quest, and I'll warn you, its a TOUGH fight).

I will be uploading the finalized mod to the nexus, but for now, it's not ready for that.

Anyway, let me know if you have any suggestions or criticisms of it

You have a mistake in the helmet mesh that could be the cause of a few of the bugs. You have the actual NiTriShape that has the helmet mesh named Bip01 Spine2 which might be making the game think it's a bone (I did this myself in a mod ages ago and it caused all sorts of bugs). If you rename that part it will fix it.

    Good Luck

Your welcome. It's one of those mistakes that is a pain to notice I forgot to say that the armor is brilliant

Hey man i've been playing with it for a bit. Found 1 bug. When firing a minigun in 3th person my character aims downwards. Without the armor on it works fine. Just letting you know can't wait for the full release since you made me fall in love with power armor again

I noticed that myself (When taking this screenshot, actually) and i have no idea what causes it. The mesh shouldn't alter the animations, so in theory, you should be able to aim. I am very new to armor creation for FNV, so It's likley i made a mistake somewhere, but unfortunately, I have no idea how to fix it

Its ok i never really do 3th person especially in power armor. I do have found another bug. When i unequip the armor. I sometimes go in slow motion. and then randomly i go back to normal speed after i set my speed to 150. Also is there a way to make this compatible with the power armor resized mod? the T-60 doesn't get affected by it (other power armors are)

This is not compatable with the armor rescale mod because i believe it adds scripts to the original Power armors. As for the slow-motion bug, I'll look into that as well.

I have a strange problem when i am getting close from Both fire or Normal Variant my games crashand when i tried to install it first it has said the mods had no ESP still i can check it i will try redownload it in case. I don't know if its from my side or the armor. could you take a look at it. So after many test it seems that Mod organizer or Tale of two Wasteteland doesn't like that mods. Mods organizer seems to have bad time installing it. But either way this armor looks Greats one of the best. I tried the pip Boy glove is not so bad it need some fixing but very little. The White armor on the other hand the texture on my side are missing. Anyway That what Alpha are for doesn't they

I'm not sure why it crashes. My best guess is the textures are too big (As they are very large) and they push the game over it's memory limit (I think its 2gb or something like that). I'm not sure about the inner workings of FNV, but I know TTW is a big hit on the memory (my game crashed significantly more often when i had it), so that might be why it crashes and the textures appear blank. My best guesses as far as fixing this are to install FNV4gb (If you haven't), Disable mods you don't need, or reduce the size of the textures manually (With the final release, I think i will release a reduced texture pack)

already got the 4gb enabler. Andi think i will simply Clean install Fallout NV and Tale of two wasteland. On the other hand i don't know if its too much too ask but i would like to have it really soon. But i am planning on Starting from Fallout 3 in Tale of two Wasteland. Can you give me the console Code for Normal One. Please because i don't want to have to go all the way to New vegas and all the way back to Fallout 3. i Tell if the clean Install helped

Looks amazing! Took a few screenshots and edited the texture slightly as 8k x 4k would cause a few lagging issues for me but it looks great, feels retro like returning to proper Fallout all over again.

Thanks In the final release i think i will include a reduced texture pack, as it is a very large texture.

Open the link in the description, and click download. It will say it's too big to scan for viruses, and ask if youre sure you want to download (I promise theres no viruses ) After that, open the file (If you don't have software to open it, I'd recomment WinRAR) and open the 'T60 Alpha' folder. Extract it's contents to your Fallout New Vegas' Data folder. You can activate the mod in either Fallout New Vegas' Launcher or in FOMM. Hope this helps

I have an idea for making it seem a little less top heavy and making the proportions a bit closer to the real thing, shrink the torso width a bit and maybe shrink the helmet. Still waiting on the download so I can't throw it into Max to show you what I mean, but the limbs on FO4's power armor are much larger proportionately than the torso, so shrinking both the torso and head should make the arms and legs appear much larger and bulkier than they actually are. Then you use something like Bwone's PA scaling mod for the height and it will even out, although the unclothed head will be bigger as well. (you can lower the head width and height in the facegen menu though iirc though if it bugs you)

And as for the hands since they are now mechanical on the FO4 PA you could simply throw together some simple mechanical hands, in terms of weighting it will be simple 1 weights and you can largely disregard the usual anatomy of the hand (don't forget you can off set a mesh slightly from the joints you are working with if you need a little more space)

      clears throat loudly

As to the armor proportions, many of the ideas stated are good, but rather unfeasible with the New Vegas system and how powered armor is implemented. In a word? Clipping.

Also, the idea of hands has already been set forth. If you want to know the details, see previous images.

As far as the hands go, I do have an idea I'll try. For the actual scale of the armor (Adding a scaling script) I have done that (it was removed in the download because it caused the game to crash upon taking the armor from a corpse) and as for the relative scaling, I like it approximately how it is. It's not supposed to be a replica of the fallout 4 armor, but a blend of the fallout 4 armor and fallout new vegas' armor. It was made around the T-45d Armor, so i could get the scaling and proportions similar to Fallout New Vegas' armor (It's just all a bit bigger, Being able to almost completely encase the T-45d).

Armor is great, but textures looks a bit purple to me. Do you plan to do a plain steel version as well?

It looks great. The only thing that looks a bit off are the hands which look a bit small compared to the rest of the armor.

Yeah, I'm no good at hands so it just uses the default gloves. In reality, big bulky gloves would be highly impractical anyway, and in the game, it would cause a lot of unsightly clipping. I do have an idea for it that might work, i'll see though
