Originally I just wanted to use Raoul's cowboy armor for my character and make a recreation of the Ruger New Vaquero revolver I own in real life. Ended up expanding it to a lever action rifle textured in the same style and a new black suit that reminds me of Angel Eyes in the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. There is also a lever action shotgun, but you have to travel deep into deathclaw territory to reclaim it. Both the cowboy outfit and the suit are available in the house marked Hideout in Goodsprings near Doc Mitchell. Same goes for the revolver and rifle. I wanted to add a blackjack table to the house, so I used the Vikki and Vance Casino in Primm. If you get Primm a new sherrif and wipe out the gang in the casino, it reopens. Not sure what happens to my table if you manage to get banned from that casino. I tried to change the script around so that it won't be affected. Of course if you leave Primm lawless, you don't ever have to worry about it.
In the default Desperado.esp, the revolver is at the power of the unique 357 revolver, Lucky. The rifle is equivalent to the unique cowboy repeater, La Longue Carabine. The suit is simply a suit with no armor protection and the cowboy outfit is equal to leather armor. Also there is a poker chip rack on the blackjack table with 250 chips to let you play.
The Desperado Enhanced.esp upgrades everything to end game level. So if you are like me and want to continue using the gear even though you have items with better stats, you can. The revolver is now at the same level as the Ranger Sequoia. The rifle is now equal to the Anti-Materiel Rifle. I left the shotgun unchanged, as it is already an end game weapon. Merely getting past all the deathclaws means you are high enough level to need a properly powerful shotgun. The suit now has the stats of leather armor and the cowboy armor has the stats of the Ranger Combat Armor. Also, the poker chip rack now gives 250 chips every time you click on it. I know this could break the game if you let the casino get rebuilt and just trade all the chips in for cash, so I left this option out of the default esp.
I have also altered a few perks in game so they work with my new stuff. Casinos take your weapons when you go in them, but there is an option to keep holdout weapons. Some casinos are knives only and some let pistols go into the holdout. There is a shaving razor in the house that was added to both lists and the revolver is on the list that allows pistols. The revolver, rifle, and shotgun were added to the Cowboy perk. The revolver was added to the Professional perk. The shotgun was added to the Shotgun Surgeon perk.
