After testing for over two hours trying to ge tthe Cazador poison to wear off, I am under the impression that it is bugged, no pun intended. So I made this small mod for my early game characters.
If you like the brutal murder of the poison especially in the early game please do not bash or complain about this, this is simply a helping had for the early game explorers out there. trust me the Cazadors are more than deadly without their poison.
Just drop it in your data folder and all you have to worry about is the Cazador's deadly normal hits.
If you still want a halfway decent game experience, then disable this mod at or around level 15 when they start to spawn more frequently, if you cannot handle the Cazador's at that point you should check out the cheats and god items section >.>
