Short Description:
gain control over the far more effective Archimedes One laser satellite.
Long Description:
Since the Euclid's C-Finder weapon was so utterly pathetic, I decided to rebuild it into something more useful and effective.
the result is this weapon.
The new weapon is used alongside the C-finder and is only acquirable after you retrieve the C-finder.
in action, the new weapon is used very similarly to the C-finder, however it also individually strikes every valid target in a large radius about the target-point. The barrage's firepower is significantly greater than the C-finder too. this weapon will instantly kill every target it attacks, including the player if you fire it too close to yourself.
the result is a rippling barrage of high explosive laser fire destroying everything in a large radius around where you aimed.
The weapon reloads in a 30 second period or so, using weapon-condition as a status bar. it only reloads while you have it equipped.
This is somewhat borderline on God Weapon, however the reload time helps keep it on the side of balance. It absolutely will kill what you fire it at unless that target is moving quickly.
Background:
The original work at the Helios facility was on Archimedes One, which players are able to deploy in defence/amusement at Helios to kill all the NCR soldiers in the area.
Archimedes One is a multi-targetting anti-personel weapon, while Archimedes Two was intended for anti-armor/anti emplacement work.
Archimedes Two is naturally less useful to the roaming Courier than Archimedes One would be.
This mod provides the controller for Archimedes One, a much less toylike device with a much more science-fiction aspect to it.

Installation:
Copy/pasta the Data directory from this mod into your Fallout New Vegas main directory. overwriting anything that needs to be.
Tick the appropriate Tickbox.
Start the game.

How to get it:
Complete the quest That Lucky Old Sun for better or worse. it doesn't actually matter much, but for immersion reasons, enable the Archimedes Two system.
Retrieve the Euclidean C-Finder from Freeside. play normally until you're accosted by a certain very pissed off General.
kill him and make it quick before he starts laying into you with heavier firepower. (he carries a plasma pistol but only has a limited amount of ammunition before he starts using the Archimedes One Controller he's carrying.
Enjoy your ultra-powerful anti-personel weapon.
