About this mod
Adds the Turbo-E, an item that, when equipped, acts like the Turbo (Ingestible), causing the Player Character to experience everything in bullet-time/slow-motion.
- Permissions and credits
I did not assign a Body Object to the Apparel, so it will not conflict with any other clothing/apparel your character is wearing. (Since it does not have a corresponding Body Object, I do not believe Followers/Companions will equip the item without the use of the Command Console.)
I set the Equip Type to Hand Equip.
The Turbo-E does NOT look like the normal "canister of jet rigged to an aerosol bottle off hairspray," as described in the Fallout > Wikia site. Instead, I used the Stealth Boy World Object.
The Turbo Effect disengages when you unequip the Turbo-E.
I replaced several of the 'vanilla' Turbos in the game with the equippable Turbo-E.
Their Locations are as follows:
Nipton Town Hall, 1st floor, behind the Locked Door.
Mesquite Mountains Crater, Hell's Motel, on Dr. Rotson's Corpse.
Boulder City, Great Khan Hideout, in a corner, on the floor, next to some shelves. (Although the objects in this room are 'owned' by the Great Khan's. Taking it would be considered 'stealing' it from the Great Khan's Faction.)
I also added it to The Leveled Item Lists VendorChemsDrugs75 & 100) used by Jack at the Red Rock Drug Lab & the Gammorrah Bartenders, so they should have it in stock from time to time.
I've also made a separate, Combat Equip Turbo Mod, where the Turbo Effect only activates when you enter Combat & deactivates again when Combat ends.
Installation: Included is the .ESP (Data File) and the Mesh for the Stealth Boy (Including the proper File Path). All of which are packed with 7Zip. Simply Unzip these File/Folders, Copy/Move to your Fallout: New Vegas > Data Folder, Access the game through your favorite Launcher, Select the Data File (.ESP) and play as
normal.
To Uninstall: Delete the Data (.ESP File) & "Meshes > Clutter > Health > StealthBoy.NIF" from your "Fallout: New Vegas > Data" Folder.
Mod Cleaned with FNVEdit, which can be found at:
