Overview
Pacer's Gambit is the seventh in a planned series of mods restoring cut content back to Fallout New Vegas. This mod restores the option of talking down Pacer when he tries to start a coup during King's Gambit. To see this option, you must get help from Colonel Hsu during the quest. Then when Pacer attempts to start trouble there will be new dialogue options, including the ability to convince Pacer to fall in line with what the King wants (if you have a very high speech ability), or even to tell the NCR soldiers to gun the Kings down.
This is just a leftover from Freeside Open, but I started it as a seperate esp file so decided I should release it for those who don't want to use that mod. It's pretty much also just left here as a community resource, if anyone else wants it for their mod, they can use it with no restrictions, just give me a credit.
There are actually two cut Pacer situations, with different dialogue. The other one could be restored for Moore's quest, but it plays out essentially the same, and doesn't make sense thematically; the player is told Hsu is the man to ask to get things done with diplomacy, but warned that Moore will go in all guns blazing. Having the same outcome makes the two choices redundant. I possibly might make another mod for her quest arc another time.

Installation
Simply extract all files from this archive to your FalloutNV/Data/ directory. click the "Data Files" option from the game's loader and tick the box next to pacersgambit.esp
For best results, simply use the Fallout Mod Manager (FOMM) package installer.
IMPORTANT
Do not use this mod along with Freeside Open - it's already integrated into that mod.
