I didn't like the Sonic Emitter in Old World Blues. It was a neat enough little thing, but it was barely useful as a weapon. Even with the strongest sound file, my old Glock 86 plasma pistol beat it out in actual usability.
With this mod, I intend to change that. Perfectly suited for the energy cell rich Big Empty, I give you the automatic sonic emitter! All stats are identical to the original versions, except that all variants now fire three shots per second. You get the same damage per ammo used with each variant, but now you get it fast enough to actually kill anything.
Also, they all looks pretty dang cool to fire! Like a proper raygun. Happy hunting!
(Requires Old World Blues, obviously.)
WARNING: Some users may find that if they use the sonic emitter in VATS, the VATS sequence will not end, and you will unload all of your ammo into into the gibs of whatever you kill. It is recommended that you save before attempting to use this weapon in VATS. If it works, you will likely never have the problem. If it does, do not use the weapon in VATS.
