[OVERVIEW]
-Meant to be played with hardcore enabled.
-Firearms have been rebuilt, making each one loud, heavy and quick to put down the bad guys. Sounds are much more realistic, yours and theirs, giving you the advantage of hearing enemies at a distance as well as the disadvantage of them hearing you.
-Explosives have been rebuilt, stay clear of those, you're better off backing off, unless you prefer no legs.
-Food and drink has been rebuilt to be your life line, even a little is now enough to keep you alive. Anything with water in it will nourish you. Prewar brands won't do, you're better off forging fruits and vegetables or trading for them.
-Armor has been rebuilt, anything with metal plates or thick protection will likely stop more bullets as well as protect you from the elements. Power armor is now deadly, better have some of your own or some heavy ordinance before you take them on.
-AI has been tweaked to be more accurate to life threatening scenarios. No more coverless combat or suicidal enemies. Open conflict is a serious danger and is usually deadly unless avoided or properly executed.
-All narcotics have been rebuilt, everything has extreme effects and harsh consequences. They now have high value in the valley and can be crafted in surplus with the proper equipment.
-Traversing terrain is now a concern, radiation is no longer an annoyance it's dangerous. No more jumping of cliffs or buildings, take your time. Watch the skies for sand storms.
-Ammunition and medical supplies are much more expensive, trading is more progressive than spending. Manage your supplies wisely as you can no longer carry hundreds of pounds of equipment.
-No more superhuman night vision. Nights and interiors are now dark, campfires and sleeping bags are worth the extra weight. Take your time.
-Much, much more has been done to game-play, providing a more intense, more rewarding and more memorable play-through every time.
[Compatibility]
I've rebuilt the whole game excluding models/animations virtually eliminating
the need for existential modding to have a playable survivor simulation, directed
towards realism both in gameplay and visual immersion, so gameplay re-balancing will
conflict as well as most weather changes, weapon stat changes, clothing stat changes or AI changes.
[Install Guide]
{!} ULTIMATE EDITION OR ALL DLC REQUIRED {!}
{!} DO NOT INSTALL WITH MOD MANAGERS {!}
{!} INSTALL ONTO FRESH NEW VEGAS {!}
1. Open File [FNV] Located in [WesternValleySun.rar]
2. Extract All Internal Files To Main Game Directory [Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout New Vegas] And Overwrite.
3. Open Your ModManager, Then Enable All Included Inactive Plugins.
4. Optional Perfect INI Graphics Option, Extract [FalloutNV] File To [Documents\My Games]
-Enable These Options Via Nvidia Control Panel By Clicking [Manage 3D Settings, Program Settings, Select A Program To Customize, Then Add]
-Select (falloutnv.exe) And Scroll To [Specify The Settings For This Program]
-Enable These Settings As Follows
-Ambient Occlusion (Quality)
-Anisotropic Filtering (16x)
-Triple Buffering (On)
-Vertical Sync (On)
-Virtual Reality Pre Rendered Frames (2)
-Click Apply And Your Ready To Rock!
5. Start A New Game, Enable Hardcore And Keep Your Head On A Swivel.
