This is my first mod ever and I literally have zero modding or programming experience, zero, none......just keep that in mind but my mod should be perfectly safe. Basically I copied the intense training effect but with a twist. Normally the way intense training works is that its actually written as a quest that adds a special point that you can use, so I took the same script but added at the end of the script one last command, player.removeperk xxxxxxxxx "the id of the Evolve perk". When the perk is removed the game keeps the bonus special point but removes the perk, making it so you can take the perk again at the next level. I also added a second rank of it that does the exact same thing in case the game does something strange and doesn't remove the perk the first time, it should do it the second time. It should be compatible with everything and you can add it to your current save without issues, you should also be able to remove the mod without issue. Although it should be safe I would like to point out that I created this in an hour starting from zero experience.....if you are worried, I would test it with a test save. Also just in case anyone is curious the quest I created for this perk is under Generic in the quest folder.
Installation instructions
Put Evolve Perk.esp inside data folder of Fallout New Vegas and with Nexus Mod Manager go to plugins and check the box next to Evolve Perk....I also recommend using Loot to make sure the load order is correct.
Uninstall instructions
Open Nexus Mod Manager and go to plugins, uncheck the box next to Evolve Perk, after unchecking the box go to the data folder in your new vegas directory and delete Evolve Perk.esp....I recommend using loot again to make sure your load order is correct.
Thank you for trying my mod or just taking a look at it. It's cool to give back to this dedicated community.
