IMPORTANT: v1.3 Changes how scanning functions any versions before that will not work with the new system and resets anything you scanned. Sorry for the inconvenience.

When I was playing Dead Money for the 'nth time I some how keep getting caught on what Elijah said,

"The vending machines, they provide, provide almost anything. Perhaps in the Pre-War era, they were commonplace, things to dismiss. Now, they are far more valuable. You know it. They helped keep you alive."

And begrudgingly I must agree with that crazed lunatic. *SHUDDER* Which that quote inspired me to make this mod for at the end of Dead Money. In this you need to get Elijah's Research Notes from his footlocker in the Abandoned Brotherhood Bunker craft a SM Vending Machine Item Scanner, some Blank Holotapes and find stuff that can be scanned including things from other DLCs. There is a total of 111 mod added items that can be dispensed, of which 102 mod added items to be scanned and one of them that when scanned creates a powerful (and expensive) healing product, and if your not using a mod that allows you to go back to the Sierra Madre you can scan 14 items to unlock other items that you might have missed while exploring the Sierra Madre. Also if you don't want to be like a prospector to find the stuff, there is a list down below and in the file there is also the list of items with their prices that can be scanned if you don't feel like picking up every other item to check if it can be scanned and not want to go back and forth between the game and here.

Currently You have to place the vending machine holotapes into a container to pick up for it to go into the notes section of the Pip-Boy. I'm working on fixing this, so if your a fellow modder that knows how to fix this message me and I'll be grateful for the assistance.

I integrated from my old mod "Sierra Madre Vending Machine - Drinks and Flavored Mentats" the dispenser options from there as well, plus made Microfusion Cells a part of the default things that can be dispensed because of the Holorifle. This also synergies well with GOLDENTRIANGLES' Craftable Placeable Sierra Madre Vending Machines.

v1.3 - Changed crafting so it uses a token system instead of notes due to them appearing in player's misc items section of the pipboy instead of notes, with a good in-game excuse in Elijah's Notes.
-Made Tokens also for vanilla SM Machine codes. If you find the vanilla vending machine code, the scanner recipes don't show up for it but if you miss the vending machine code you can scan said item that you missed.
-Standard ammo and variants are unlocked all at once when scanned with its standard ammo and variants.
-Crunchy Mutfruit added to vending machine.
-Added recipe for a Steak Dinner for the campfire (Unlockable after scanning four specific foods)
