------[Description]------


My first ever mod! Originally, Muggy was supposed to be a companion but that was cut due to the developers not having enough time. So I decided to take it upon myself to make this Muggy mod. I know this isn't the first mod to make him a companion but after trying each one, none of them were really to my liking or functional at all, so it inspired me to make this mod. Yes, it uses the original Muggy, no duplicates or whatever. He can be found in The Sink like always, and if you just so happened to have already activated him, downloading this mod will deactivate him once you load your game. So I put two holotapes in The Sink Balcony(For the people who already activated him). His activation and upgrade tapes. If you haven't activated him yet, you shouldn't have any problems activating him with the holotapes from the quest.

Yes, he has a companion wheel and you can speak with him! You can also still give him mugs and receive electrical components from him. And he's fully voiced and synced too so thats pretty cool!!! You can dismiss him to the Lucky 38 or Higgs Village, why I chose Higgs Village? I don't know neither do I really care enough to change the location. And he's also still the same size, but due to that, he gets stuck on curbs and stairs pretty often, but he gets up eventually. I might add a scaled up version but only if enough people want it. 

I also tried making him feel like a vanilla companion as much as I could, he can engage in fights with you and you can also trade with him. Occasionally, he bugs the fuck out when fighting and stops following you completely, not sure why this happens but I'm not really planning on fixing it. So either dismiss him, knock him out, or go into console and disable and enable him.

(10/13/2020) Holy shit, its been a while since I've touched this mod, glad to see that some people are enjoying still it though. Will I continue to update this mod after so long? Probably not, maybe if someone is willing to agree to voice act for Muggy for some brand new lines or if I ever feel like including his alert screen, then maybe I'll consider it. I haven't had much time lately to keep working or work on any other mods as of now and its just been building up a lot of stress. If theres stuff I actually should update it would probably be his perk, and also upscale his size and add that as an alternate version of this mod for those who get annoyed by Muggy constantly getting stuck on curbs. Theres alot more I'd like to bring to the table but thats going to have to wait for when I'm done with a couple other projects, see you soon✌️ 

------[How to recruit him]------


Pretty simple, travel to Big MT and then go into The Sink, and you'll find him in his spot(if you haven't activated him yet) or still moving around but unable to talk to(If you have already activated him). Activate him using the holotapes and there you can speak to him and recruit him. If you're having trouble recruiting him (The option to do so doesn't show up) check to see if you ticked the esp or reload a save. If reloading a save makes him unable to talk to at all then relaunch the game

He has his very own perk! Mug's Best Friend, this perk grants you a +10 bonus to Science and reduces the chance to get addicted to chemicals by 50%!(Changing up his perk in the next update)

Just drop everything into your data folder. Then tick the esp and you're ready to go.

------[Known Bugs]------

-Due to his small size, he gets stuck on curbs and stairs

-Whenever entering combat, he will engage in the fight but theres a chance he will stop moving and not follow you after it ends. I recommend dismissing him, not really sure how or why this happens but it just does 

-When attacking animals, if Muggy is on aggressive he will not move or fight at all, he only fights back when turned on passive. I've only had this issue with animals, no npcs or anything. It's probably something to due with the Animal Friend Perk. Turns out this issue has been happening to all my companions (Both modded and vanilla companions) Whenever attacking creatures/animals when set to aggressive, you're companion will not fight until set to passive, I've been having this issue ever since I got the animal friend perk.

-Thats all I've encountered so far, if you happen to run into more bugs, please tell me!

-I might occasionally update this mod, so look out for newer versions if you can :)
