This mod simply and safely removes the gate atop Fortification Hill, removing one key load door from Caesars Fort.

It also makes all NPCs persistent and disables the autosave at the top of the hill, which often causes a stutter when transitioning areas. As a result, the Fort area will have improved performance compared to vanilla. 

For obvious reasons, this does not open Caesar's tent.



IMPORTANT: I only recommend installing this mod if you haven't visited the fort on your current playthrough. Ignoring this advice may cause NPCs in the Fort Summit area to not spawn.

Install via mod manager or add Fort_Open.esm from the data folder of your FNV installation. Do not uninstall this mod mid-playthrough! no exceptions.

This mod is now natively comaptible with FPGE, a patch is no longer required.

Load after any other mods that modify the area Including "Lime's Fort Overhaul" and "Improved AI (Navmesh Overhaul mod)" by Inthegrave.
