This contains generated facegen for FCO to hopefully prevent characters from having pale faces as well as the need for bLoadFaceGenHeadEGTFiles to set to 1.

Fallout character overhaul is a mod that I don't personally use at the moment but this has been an issue that has been bothering me for a while.

Since FCO obliviously edits NPCs some characters edited will have a white face when they shouldn't.

The usual fix recommended for this is to set bLoadFaceGenHeadEGTFiles to 1 in the Fallout ini file however this is from my understanding extremely performance heavy.

The other solution is to generate your own facegen using the GECK and that is what I have done.

Available for download should be the facegen in a BSA file named "FCOMaster - Facegen".

The loose files will also be available though I do recommend using the BSA version.

The original DDS and TGA files I generated will also be available for download in case any wants them.

Also now included as separate download is a mod that  should remove the can be all races flag from the NPCs that had it added by FCO.

I followed this guide to generate the facegen: https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/articles/55233 but from what I understand this method might be slightly incorrect particularly with the DTX1 option though it is the only method I know of at this time. If I do find a better method I will use it and update the files. 

The main file for the BSA should be 15.4MBs but this will might increase if I do find out a better method.

The main loose files unpacked should be around 90MBs.

I am mostly certain this mod isn't doing anything wrong by existing as not re-uploading any FCO files and files require FCO to function.

Somethings to note:
  • I used a slightly edited version of FCOBugfixes to generate the files.
  • The only thing I changed in the ESM was removing the can be all races flag from the NPCs that had it. I did this as with this flag characters will always have white faces even with facegen.
  • Some Characters will still have really pale faces and this is to do with can be all races flag I previously mentioned. You will have to remove this yourself and it will likely be rather tedious. You no longer have to do this as I have uploaded a mod that should remove the can be all races from the NPCs that had it added by FCO.
  • As far as I know, you only need to remove this flag for NPCs who have had it added to them by the FCO ESM. NPCs from the FalloutNV.ESM with flag should probably keep it.
  • I used FNVEdit: https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/34703 to remove it though I believe you can also use the GECK.
  • Since this is just textures it will likely not need to be disabled when using the GECK.

I am sorry if this is hard to read and if it is please inform me and I will try to fix that.

I am also sorry if this mod is not allowed though from my understanding it is but if it isn't I will remove the mod as soon as I am made aware.
