Changelogs
Version 1.0
Initial release.
This is a little experiment I did a while back that demonstrates how it is possible, with a couple tricks, to add functional ironsights to heavy weapons in New Vegas.
Heavy weapons are unable to use proper IS animations, but by changing the way their animations are oriented, and adding a sighting node to the mesh, it's still possible to make working ironsights for them.
This file simply uses modified animations from Hit's Anims - Season 2, and a modified mesh from WMIM, to showcase this possiblity on a Plasma Caster. Check out the videos tab for a short demonstration.
I am not nearly good enough at animations to make this stuff look good, but hopefully some of the animators on Nexus will be able to make use of this.
