About this mod
Remade one of my older mods from scratch. Makes Lanius respawn as long as he isn't killed by getting his limbs dismembered.

OVERVIEW
The original was really not well made . Lanius just spawned back, there were a bunch of intrusive changes and you could bypass the fight by knocking him down and then running to the exit.
Since I have a soft spot for this concept, and now that I am more knowledgeable about scripting, I rebuilt the entire mod and ditched a bunch of the superfluous stuff to keep what is essential, a tough as hell boss who won't go down easily.
I will not hide the old mod since I am not including some of its features in this remaster.
FEATURES
Removed Features:
- Legate Healing Powder heals limbs. That just made the fight more annoying because you needed to wait for the powder to wear off, artificially
lengthening the fight without any of the challenge.
- Glowing Ghost Eyes. Unnecessary intrusive change, and it didn't really look good even when I made them glow.
- Green Bug Blood. Unnecessary intrusive change.
Changes and Features:
- Now he will get back up instantly if he is not really dead, so you don't have time to loot his body.
- He can't die from DoT sources like poison, fire and electricity, or even the kill command.
- He will die if he is gooified or disintegrated.
- He will die if he is blown up.
- He will die if the killing blow is on a crippled limb, which will explode on death.
- In every other circumstance, he gets back up, ready for the next round.
- The quest only updates once he is dead for real now, so you can't knock him down and run to the gate to skip the fight anymore.
ISSUES
None that I know of.
COMPATIBILITY
Should be compatible with everything that doesn't edit the VLegateScript and VLegateShowdownControlScript scripts.
If people want the features from the old version like the glowing eyes, simply load this mod after the old version in the load order.
INSTALL/UNINSTALL
To do it manually, add LegateGhostRedux.esp to your Data folder. Remove the file to uninstall.
Alternatively, you can use a mod manager.
