PushTheWinButton's Water Overhaul mod is amazing for mega ultra immersive hardcore playthroughs. It makes the Mojave truly feel like an irradiated wasteland where clean water is hard to come by. However, with the current way my load order is set up, I find the original mod to be very difficult to play with sometimes. Especially with other hardcore mods that affects your thirst.
So I made three simple adjustments to his mod to streamline hardcore playthroughs.
That's it. Just three minor adjustments. The rest of the mod was left untouched, so you can still refill water bottles and such.
You can either use this version or PushTheWinButton's, not both.

- Purified water can now be crafted with 15 points in survival (originally 50), but needs RadAway
Recipe: 5 Unclean water, 2 Glass pitcher (returns), 1 Surgical tubing (returns), 1 Pressure Cooker (returns), 1 RadAway - Bottled water no longer restores health. (Best paired with Food Items Do Not Heal)
- Enabled Famine compatibility, empty bottles are now rarer.
That's it. Just three minor adjustments. The rest of the mod was left untouched, so you can still refill water bottles and such.
