All of the mod's ammo types can be acquired through merchants or crafting (Note: Wait 3-5 indoor days for every vendor to restock so you can buy the ammo types)
Ammo Types
Calibers: JHP, FMJ, Poison Round, Scorch Round, Radium Round, Radium HP, Knocker Round, AP, HP, Shrapnel, Small Explosive, Explosive and Tranquilizer
JHP (Jacketed Hollow Point): mostly used by all caliber ammos
+Higher damage (x 1.65)
-Lower armor penetration (+2 DT)
FMJ (Full Metal Jacket): mostly used by all caliber ammos
+Penetrates Armor
+Cheaper than AP Rounds
-Lower impact Damage (x 0.80)
Poison Round - used by: .22LR, 44 Magnum, .556mm, 5mm and 9mm
+Applies poison to the target , dealing 5 limb damage and 10 damage per sec for 5 seconds
-Useless against Robots
Scorch Round - used by: 10mm, 127mm, .308, 357 Magnum, 44 Magnum, 45-70 Gov't, .556mm, 5mm and 9mm
+Scorches the target dealing 20 damage per sec for 7 seconds
Radium Round - used by: 127mm and .556mm
+Applies radium to the target that deals severe radiation damage
-Useless against Robots, Ghouls and Supermutants
-Lower impact damage (x 0.20)
Radium HP - used by: 357 Magnum and .50 MG
+Combines the power of a Hollow Point and Radium Round
Knocker Round - used by high caliber ammos (.308, 45-70, etc)
+Has a chance to knock an opponent down
-Lower impact damage (x 0.80)
AP (Armor Piercing) used by: 10mm, 127mm, .223, .22LR, 357 Magnum, 44 Magnum, .45-70 Gov't and 9mm
+Penetrates armor (-10 DT)
-Lower impact damage (x 0.95)
HP (Hollow Point) used by: .223, .38 Special, and .50 MG
+Higher damage (x 1.75), (x 1.50) for .50 MG
-Lower armor penetration (+3 DT)
Shrapnel - mostly used to bleed enemies, used by: 357 Magnum, 44 Magnum, .45-70 Gov't, .556mm and 9mm
+Deals bonus leg damage
+Bleeds the enemy for 3 seconds dealing 14 damage per sec

-Bonus damage to legs does not apply to Robots

Small Explosive - used by: .556mm and 5mm

Tranquilizer - Exclusive for the .308

Shotgun Shells: Birdshot, Dragon's Breath, Explosive Ball, Explosive Pellets, Plasma Burst Slug, Plasma-Pulse Slug, Poison Shot, Scorch Shot and Shrapnel
Birdshot - used by 12ga and 20ga
+Making all of the pellets hit on one target will deal bonus damage or in other words it deals bonus damage at point blank range

Dragon's Breath - used by 20ga
+Creates a flame that ignites the target
Explosive Ball - used by 12ga and 20ga
+An explosive version of a slug

Explosive Pellets - used by 12ga and 20ga
+Shoots 4 explosive pellets
+Bonus damage
=Deals bonus damage when all of the pellets hits (useful for a hunting shotgun that has a long barrel)
Plasma Burst Slug - creates a pinkish plasma explosion, used by 12ga and 20ga
+Deals bonus damage to Abominations and Feral Ghouls
+Penetrates armor (-30 DT)

Plasma-Pulse Slug - creates a cyan explosion, used by 12ga and 20ga
+Deals bonus damage to robots
+Paralyses the enemies

Poison Shot - used by 12ga and 20ga

-Useless against Robot
Scorch Shot - creates a flame similar to dragon's breath, used by 12ga and 20ga

EMP - used by MFC, EC and ECP
+Deals bonus damage to Robots and Power Armor users

Heated - used by MFC, EC and ECP
+Deals true damage to fleshy foes
+Same price as a default MCF, EC or ECP
-Lower impact damage to anyone who is wearing heavy armor (Power Armors, Combat Armors, Metal Armors, etc)
-Ineffective against Robots
Minimum Charge - used by MFC, EC and ECPMFC, EC and ECP
+Drains item condition 50% slower

Scorch - used by: MFC, EC and ECP
+Scorches the target dealing 20 damage per sec for 7 seconds

Sensor
+Relies on your enemies for it to explode... will explode when it detects an enemy
-Does not explode on impact
Sonic Boom - Tired of missing your missile shots in VATS? well now you can improve your chances of hitting an enemy with this missile
+Fastest Missile (2x more speed than High Velocity)
Mini Nukes: Boosted, Radium, Plasma-Pulse
Boosted
+Makes the projectile travel in almost a straight line
Radium - creates a green explosion "The blast may not kill your enemies but the radiation might"
+Applies radium to anyone who is caught to the blast causing them to take 100 damage per sec for 12 seconds
-Ineffective against Robots, Ghouls and Supermutants
-Lower blast damage
Plasma-Pulse - creates a cyan explosion
+Paralyses anyone who is caught to the blast for 10 seconds and deals 15 damage per sec for 10 seconds
+Deals bonus damage to Robots
-Lower damage (x 0.80)
