Blue is a hologram dog companion. He can be hired first thing from Doc Mitchell's house, and is a powerful defense for low-level characters. He works similarly to the holograms from the Sierra Madre.

Blue is a hologram dog I made as a powerful early companion. He can be hired in Doc Mitchell's house. His model and scripting works very well, but the sounds are incomplete.
I used scripting from PlatinumShad0w's Deployable Hologram Emitters and incorporated Nivea's Eye Fix into his model.
He has two weapons, the Super Sonic Bark, and Holo-Bite. He also has a custom perk.
I had a great time reverse engineering the holograms to get his transparency and effects, and am indebted to PlatinumShadow's script, but I've run out of steam to continue working on him. I encourage anyone to take this mod and improve it. I've uploaded the textures, meshes, and scripts in a seperate download.
Changes I would've made to "complete" him are: -to somehow script the color change so that he doesnt change back from red to yellow mid-fight -to be make him part companion and part item, so that a hologram emitter could be worn on the character similar to the visible grenade mod, and then unequipped to turn him off -to fully realize his sound files -to figure out how to give him a subtle ambiet glow.
The mod uses the vanilla dog skeleton and normal maps.
Note: I had an issue when installing the mod that the eyes were not recognized by the data folder. If this happens, simply copy the eyessethologramblue.nif to meshes/creatures/dog.
