The original Tranquility Lane pictures are really low resolution and used extensively in the base game and some interior overhaul mods. They come in at a meager 512 x 512, which is shared between all six pictures. Yeah, they're all stuffed onto one texture, so the actual pictures are more like 180-200 x 100 or something like that. Sad, isn't it? Also covers some other minor things.
More info:
So, I decided to remake some of the pictures and keep some of the originals. I tried to keep the same structure and oil painted look in the ones I remade to keep the same feeling, to an extent. I made an exception for the picture featuring someone walking in front of Tenpenny Tower as I felt that was rather out of place; even in its low resolution, it's still CLEARLY Tenpenny Tower. I swapped that one out for a slightly more ambiguous and imposing shot from the base of the tower. The new texture clocks in at 4k, with 2k normal maps. Check the pictures for a comparison.
I also went ahead and upscaled the frames to 2048 x 2048 and gave them brand new 1k normal maps. I won't lie, this change isn't super noticeable at all in game, unless you have a habit of staring at frames for excess amounts of time. I can't even really tell the difference, but screenshots have been included anyway.
Also retextured the torn painting so it actually looks like something that could have been a painting at one point in time. It also got new normal maps. Both are now 1k.

Higher Quality Tranquility Lane Paintings and Terminal Screens A very nice remake, which I used to base a few of my pics off of.
