About this mod

this mod does exactly what it says on the tin, i think i made it a fair amount of effort to craft alien power cells considering the power of them, definitely a quality of life mod because i always wanted to use the alien blaster pistol but my pack rat brain wanted to "save the ammo for something more important"

DISCLAMER: the note with the recipe will not spawn for characters you've made before installing this mod, the note with the recipe will only appear for new characters with the wild wasteland perk, this is unintentional, but if i had to guess it has something to do with how wild wasteland works, i do not know how to fix this at this time, if you do want the recipe on a character you made before downloading this mod use this command without the quotation marks in the console  "player.additem AlienPowerCellRecipe 1"

obtaining the recipe: it is found on the alien captain's corpse with the alien blaster & the alien power cells

crafting requirements: the recipe & 100 science

crafting ingredients:
- 1 alien power cell
- 1 energy cell of each type (standard, bulk, over charge, max charge, & optimized)
- 1 microfusion cell of each type (standard, bulk, over charge, max charge, & optimized)
- 1 electron charge pack of each type (standard, bulk, over charge, max charge, & optimized)
- 1 flamer fuel pack of each type (standard, homemade, & optimized)
- 1 ARCHIMEDES II Charge

output:
- 64 alien power cells

ramblings from the author:
- inherently by requiring optimized ammo types your player character will need the vigilant recycler perk to make use of this crafting recipe
- due to the player needing to go through the tedious task of gathering twenty different ammo types, i felt that sixty four was a reasonable output, i hate resetting vendors, imagine having to wait twenty four hours just to make one Alien Power Cell because you have to wait for the ARCHIMEDES II Charge
- i made this mod because i didn't like the other mods, not because they are bad, but as i said before, i'd rather run around like a chicken with my head cut off than sitting around resetting vendors
- requiring one alien power cell to craft more alien power cells is something my friends & i thought was funny because still needing to be atleast somewhat ammo conscious is incredibly funny to us
- requiring one ARCHIMEDES II Charge is a simple morality test that might make an objectively good player character think twice, but on the other hand if you already are an ARCHIMEDES II enjoyer, if you want another way to potentially spend those ARCHIMEDES II Charges, i am sure this will be a fine option to have
- having the output of this recipe be one stack of alien power cells (64) is a minecraft reference & i am not ashamed of this
