About this mod

Bobblehead Business is a combination relocation and retrieval quest for bobbleheads in TTW. The quest must be started by interacting with the Vault-Tec Mainframe in the Vault-Tec HQ, and it will occur in two phases, the first being SPECIAL retrieval, and the latter being the skill bobbleheads.

Overview:
Bobblehead Business is a combination relocation and retrieval quest for bobbleheads in TTW.
Both the survival and big guns bobbleheads have been implemented and can be found in tandem.
TTW 3.3.3's altered bobblehead stand that can fit both the survival and big guns bobblehead has been used to allow display of the additional bobblehead.


Features:
The quest must be started by interacting with the Vault-Tec Mainframe in the Vault-Tec HQ, and it will occur in two phases, the first being SPECIAL retrieval, and the latter being the skill bobbleheads.
Bobblehead relocation has been transposed from the very well considered TTW Bobbleheads Relocated by Kalash96, as I like those changes, and any relocation of bobbleheads with a retrieval quest must be either merged or made a requirement, so the changes have been included.

Locations:

  • Charisma: Vault 108 Cloning Lab.
    I just restored to how it was in original FO3
  • Intelligence: Vault 112, Overseer's Office.
    Felt too cheap to just grab from the Rivet City lab. Now it requires an intelligence-based skill (Science) to get.
  • Perception: On top of Washington Monument.
    Felt this location is a "symbolic" place for it.
  • Strength: Vault 87, Overseer's Office.
    Changed due to RP, I hardly ever find a legitimate RP reason for my good-natured character to waltz into Lucas Simms house and steal his trophy, and it feels cheap being able to get it that easily/early.
  • Energy Weapons: Fort Bannister, Commanding Officer's Quarters (When you go down the stairs in the room Jabsco's in).
    I have forgot to pick up this bobblehead from Colonel Autumn's room too many times. I relocated this for peace of mind just incase. Also makes beating Commander Jabsco more rewarding.
  • Medicine: Our Lady of Hope Hospital, in the locked room with a Mister Handy.
    Bobbleheads are meant to be rewarded for exploration imo, and that's not what this did. + You can now get it with a Mojave start which was impossible before.
  • Repair: Corvega Factory, at the desk with a Dean's Electronic and two corpses close by.
    Also due to RP reasons + I think a factory related to manufacturing vehicles is thematically a better fit for the repair bobblehead than inside the house of some useless old kook.
  • Speech: Museum of History Offices, on a desk in the same room where the Lincoln Repeater is.
    Felt this was thematically a good place for it.
  • Survival: Andale Shack.
    The previous location wasn't bad, but I personally think the shack in Andale is a better fit thematically for a "survivalistic" collectible.
  • Big Guns: Present in Fort Constantine where the survival bobblehead was before relocation.

JIP LN, xNVSE, Johnny, ShowOff, the usual stuff.

Regular installation.

Load Order:
Inconsequential.

Compatibility:
Incompatible with any other mod which moves bobblehead locations.
Incompatible with TTW Collectibles - Bobbleheads and TTW Collectibles Merged.
Any mod which places a new bobblehead stand anywhere will need to be patched.
There is a Quick Start patch that just disables the medicine bobblehead in the cave at the start of the game.

Please report bugs in the bugs tab, not the posts. I get a notification when bugs are reported, but I have too many mods to keep up on the posts on all of them routinely.

I have no intention to. The bobbleheads are the only collectible item which I consider to have a diegetic enough reason to have a quest.

Credits: 
TTW Bobbleheads Relocated by Kalash96 was included wholesale via open permissions.
TTW Collectibles - Bobbleheads by shad0wshayd3 was used as a very loose template for the quest, but it was very heavily modified.
