The Legion put down the Bullhead Revolt, but not without casualties. Cottonwood Cove needs repair, all while old wounds still bleed and dire grudges still fester. Many will use this moment of weakness to gorge their vengeance on both Caesar...and his Courier. The Legion achieved its Retribution, but now will the Legion's enemies get their...

"There's not a greater mistake a killer can make than letting one go."

Overview

Retribution 2 is the sequel to Retribution - A Legion Quest Mod, and much like its predecessor, will send you on a multi-hour journey all over the Mojave where you'll enact the will of Caesar and his Legion, whether it be out of loyalty or greed. However, instead of merely collecting heads, your duties will be more complicated this time, such as annexing tribes or capturing slaves. You'll have plenty of decisions to make, and many will have differing consequences, some obvious, others not so. Add in a maelstrom of new weapons, armor, and perks, and you have quite the adventure on your hands.

Disclaimer: 95% of Retribution 2 is voiced, with only two side-characters lacking lines. As soon as their VAs send them in, the mod will be updated. I apologize if you feel this is "unprofessional", which I and the VA team care very-much about since we aren't being professionally paid. However, I was not going to put-off releasing this project over 20 lines.

Requirements and Getting Started

Dead Money
Honest Hearts
Old World Blues
Lonesome Road
Gun Runner's Arsenal
Retribution - A Legion Quest Mod (V.1.3)

To begin Retribution 2, you must've completed the quest "King Nothing" from Retribution 1, and then wait roughly one in-game day. After which, several new NPCs can be found in Sextus' Shack and Prisoner Holding at Cottonwood Cove. Talk to them to begin the new quests. To experience the most amount of content, you'll want to have completed the "Master of Puppets" side quest from Retribution 1 as well.

If you do not have a save with the above requirements handy, I'd highly recommend downloading Hector - A Legion Save Game for the Retribution Series, which will allow you to jump right into Retribution 2 or even replay 1.

Special Thanks to fellow modder Whiteout for his constant advice during development and promotion on his Discord. I owe you at least 50 slave-heads, amicus!

Special Thanks to fellow modders ElPascal and Dayglow Drifter for their sage-like guidance through the GECK. Truly, I'd be lost forever in that broken and buggy abyss if it wasn't for you guys.

Special Thanks to YouTubers AlChestBreach, Mikeburnfire, and Kottabos Games whose coverage of my work not only provided me with great feedback, but infinite joy.

Special Thanks to everyone who played Retribution 1 and left kind words of encouragement! It was your words that pushed Retribution 2 into development, for a sequel was never originally planned.

And finally, Special Thanks to legend SomeRooster for showing us that you can still tell unforgettable stories and trigger real emotions in add-ons to a 20 year old, buggy ass game. Your writing style has had an insurmountable influence on my own, so if your work didn't exist, neither would mine.
