Completely new models/textures for the double barrel/sawed off shotgun that was in fallout 3/Point Lookout DLC.
Why make this?
Cause apparently I like doing these things.
Whats in the pack?
For the TTW it just replaces the already existing models, however for FNV the esp will add the DB into the Mojave.
Double barrel Shotgun
This adds a modable DB to the Mojave, while this might invalidate the sawed-off the later still has more use cases such as more spread, projectiles and light weight.
Kneecapper
Basically the same weapon thats in F3/TTW, it's basically just an overall better sawed-off.
Mouser
Mostly a meme weapon, however this thing does have a significant spread and shot count so with certain ammo types it can be very useful for large crowds.
How to install?
INSTALL THE RESOURCE FILES FIRST. If you have TTW installed download that, otherwise use the FNV one. Once downloaded just like any other mod, drop this into your MO of choice and it should be pretty self explanatory. If you have Real Time Reflections installed you'll need the patch.
YOU WILL NEED TO INSTALL NVAO this isn't optional. Its set up to use Rockbiters animations, you can use Hitman's set for the sawed-off however the shells in that set are slightly offset on the reload (This is also an issue with the vanilla meshes but isn't as obvious). When you've got NVAO installed you will need to hide or delete zzz_shotgun_double.json and zzz_shotgun_sawed.json found in Meshes\AnimGroupOverride. You will also need ISControl by Xilandro otherwise your sights will be misaligned.
So to summarise, install goes like this -
1 - NVAO and hide/delete zzz_shotgun_double.json and zzz_shotgun_sawed.json
2 - ISControl
3 - Resource file
4 - Either TTW or FNV file
5 - The RTR patch if needed
6 - Go back and endorse everything :)
THE TTW FILE IS JUST A SCRIPT RE-PLACER AND DOES NOT NEED AN ESP, USING THE FNV ONE WILL ADD DOUBLE
THE AMOUNT OF SHOTGUNS INTO THE MOJAVE
FAQ
Q - Do I need to make a patch for level lists?
A - No, everything is handled by a injector and should be fine...
Q - I don't like X
A - If its an actual reason I might consider editing, but otherwise don't use the mod
Q -I don't like the animations used can I just use vanilla animations?
A -NO you will need to use NVAO or at least use Rock's standalone animations, this isn't optional these meshes will not work with vanilla animations and I will never be making a patch. If you have issues with the sets used don't use this mod.
