What is this?
Reworked/remake of the hunting rifle with new models and textures.

Why make this?
I really dislike how the hunting rifle is used in FNV. The vanilla model just doesn't make sense for one of its use case, which is being used by NCR snipers. When you compare the original model to everything else the NCR use it stands out like a sore thumb with its ramshackle aesthetics. So thats more or less my reasoning in making this weapon so much cleaner looking.

Whats in this pack?

For TTW these will just act as a replacer but for FNV if you enable the esp you'll get some extra goodies.

.32(9mm) hunting Rifle
Yes it is a bit strange to chamber the .32 for 9mm but for early game balance reasons this was really the only ammo type that I could use without it become useless early-mid game. This is more or less is just the same stat wise as the varmint rifle with the difference being a tiny bit more weapon spread, high stat requirements, and along with a slightly higher crit chance. It shouldn't straight up replace the varmint rifle but should act as an alternative in case you have more 9mm then 556 early game. It spawns very early game so you should at least get one around Primm.

Ol' painless
This is the unique version of the 9mm HR with its design being an updated version of its original fallout 3 design. It also retains the original features of fallout 3 with a lack of iron sights, so its quite a unique weapon... It is also a great early game VATs weapon along with high crit chance and zero weapon spread.

Boone's weapon
This is Boone's unique weapon its just a skin of the normal 308 so stat wise its identical, it does come with its own scope.

How to install?
INSTALL THE RESOURCE FILES FIRST. If you have TTW installed download that, otherwise use the FNV one. Once downloaded just like any other mod, drop this into your MO of choice and it should be pretty self explanatory. If you have Real Time Reflections installed you'll need the patch.
Although not necessary (It kinda is though) I strongly suggest getting NVAO to get very nice custom animations. You will also need ISControl by Xilandro otherwise your sights will be misaligned. There is also included patches for Xil's scope mod.

One other thing, if you want paciencia to have unique animations you will need to use the .esp, this is due to a bug with using script replacers with weapons that have an ammo counting system. If you don't use the .esp Paciencia Still needs an Animation patch otherwise the animations won't work and you will have a broken gun.
ALSO IF YOU HAVE A MOD THAT EDITS PACIENCIA'S STATS YOU WILL NEED TO MAKE A PATCH, THE ONLY THING THAT NEEDS TO STAY IS THE RELOAD ANIMS SET TO RELOADZ.

So to summarise, install goes like this -
1 - NVAO
2 - ISContro
l
3 - Resource file
4 - Either TTW or FNV file
5 - The RTR patch if needed
6 - If you don't want to use the FNV esp, install the Paciencia Animation patch (the TTW file has this patch already)
6 - Go back and endorse everything :)


FAQ

Q - Do I need to make a patch for level lists?
A - Nope, everything is handled via a script injection

Q - I really dislike what you've done with Ol' Painless, I want a better ADS'ing experience
A - Making a unique weapon doesn't mean it has too be good, you can edit it via ISControl

Q - Why does the barrel mod in TTW for the 32 rifle just add a sight?

- Mostly cause I forgot and really can not be bothered making a new modelfor something that just slightly extends the barrel.
