in the final ver yeah but no point providing it for alphas as the old lod files would be broken when more land gets done, i've made the lodgen tutorial a bit more robust though and will be putting it on nexuspage
Probably not the lodsettings it would have to be the quads that we touch, so pretty much everywhere over the river, it would be time consuming to do but in any case if the current lod generation method works as intended each time we may become dependant on the individual to generate lod with the tool and that way there's no issue.
When C16 had released his original malpais he only included the lod quads for malpais without modifying wastelandnv lod settings directly so that is the route we may go.
People can hardly install mods correctly, hence why modpacks are in the making. I hardly doubt anyone will spend time to generate lod themselves, not to mention updates that require re-generation.
