Testing out a custom Media Sets to familiarize myself with how New Vegas handles music.

Media Sets are pretty cool and give you a lot more control over when and what music plays compared to earlier games that just had EXPLORE MUSIC, DUNGEON MUSIC, and BATTLE MUSIC that randomly selected tracks. In effect, you actually *have* control. You can have different tracks at night, have specific kinds of music play in different areas, and there's even a Layering system which is something *I love* when done well, like in the Binding of Isaac soundtrack.

What's also really cool is that because Media Sets are placed in world as Audio Marker objects, you can manipulate them same as any other reference. Theoretically, I imagine this could be used to do things like have different music themes for a multi-stage boss battle or extended setpiece.
