I have had another go at this mod, and started from scratch yet again, but this time I have made some major progress!
I have now made a framework that is integrated 100% via scripting, which allows me to set up a new weapon to use the scope system within roughly 10 mins. This new framework does not touch any weapon records or models directly like I had it before.
I just have to figure out how to implement night vision to the scopes, so the Varmint Rifle will be my next target. Enjoy!
