I accidentally deleted the work I've shown of this mod previously. Believe it or not, that's actually been a net positive:

The chargen sequence scripting and Geck Object organization is a lot cleaner now (and therefor easier to expand), and I've refined the Character history generation to allow alot more information and flavor text.

Also introduced here are my concept for "Quirks". Where Perks are purely beneficial, and traits have both positives and negatives, Quirks are purely detrimental and are required elements of a given Background.

The intent is to provide a unique difficulty modification for characterswho choose a particular background. Some Quirks, are permanent and somecan be overcome.

For example The Vault Dweller's "Naive" quirk reduces their perception significantly while in Dialogue- this effect becomes less severe as yourcharacter levels up, and ultimately fades entirely. Radiation Weakness on the other hand, is a permanent liability (at least for now.)

I particularly like the idea of Quirks that can be overcome- it gives your character a real sense of growth, which I think is especially important in a sandbox game, as Mojave Alternative Start is meant to be.

Thank JesusHChrist for their Vault-Boy image resources that make this mod feel far more complete than it otherwise would.
