Friendly NPC in sights = Semi-lowered
Hostile NPC in sights = Low-ready (when not in combat)
Detected/Caution = Low-ready
Near Wall = Fully Lowered
Auto lowering after a few second = Fully Lowered if not Detected by NPCs. Low-ready if detected
Combat disables lowering, just like taking any actions (reload, shooting, etc). Lowering will be enabled after a couple of seconds.
