Balance adjustments for technology, rewards, and refinement recipes added by the Interceptor update. Customizable with AMUMSS.
TECHNOLOGY
The core technology in Interceptor class ships can now be charged by all Sentinel material sources, making it feel like a truly hijacked mind and unique within your personal fleet. AMUMSS users can easily remove all non-Sentinel charge materials from Interceptor tech if your preference is resource constrained gameplay.
- Atlantideum ~ Increased per-unit charge contribution from 1 to 3.
- Radiant Shards ~ Reduced per-unit charge contribution from 200 to 60.
- All Interceptor Ship Techs ~ Where missing, added Pugneum, Atlantideum to charge list.
- Hijacked Laser ~ Removed Phosphorus; added Pugneum, Atlantideum to charge list.
REWARDS // REFINEMENT
These two modules are designed to work together, but do not require one another. The primary goal of these changes is to migrate the Nanite farming potential of Corrupted Sentinel planets from gathering Radiant Shards to combat with Corrupted Sentinel Swarms. Also makes destroying Dissonance Resonators a more lucrative proposition.
Rewards
- Corrupted Drones ~ Added 35% chance to drop a Corrupted Heart.
- Small Corrupted Spider Quad ~ Added 65% chance to drop a Corrupted Heart.
- Large Corrupted Spider Quad ~ Unchanged at 100% chance to drop a Corrupted Heart.
- Dissonance Resonator ~ Increased Inverted Mirror count from 1 to 3 and chance of drop from 80% to 100%. Added 100% chance of 3-6 Radiant Shards. In addition to the aforementioned items, the 20% chance for an Echo Locator remains unchanged.
- Harmonic Robot Interactions ~ Removed Salvaged Glass, Walker Brain, Inverted Mirror, and Quad Servo from the maintenance pool.
Refinement
- Corrupted Hearts ~ Added refiner recipe of Corrupted Heart -> Nanites (1:125).
- Radiant Shards ~ Changed refiner recipe from Radiant Shard -> Nanites (1:50) to Radiant Shard -> Inverted Mirror (2:1).
- Inverted Mirror ~ Changed refiner recipe from Inverted Mirror -> Nanites (1:95) to (1:50).
- Hyaline Brain (Corrupted Ship Brain) ~ Changed refiner recipe from Hyaline Brain -> Nanites (1:230) to (1:250).
GETTING STARTED
Installation
This mod is provided as either pre-built *.pak files or as *.lua scripts for AMUMSS. Please compare the files listed below to your existing mods. If you have any conflicts, you must use AMUMSS to create a combined build for conflict resolution.
- PAK ~ Place *.pak files in <No Man's Sky>\GAMEDATA\PCBANKS\MODS and delete <No Man's Sky>\GAMEDATA\PCBANKS\DISABLEMODS.txt.
- AMUMSS ~ Place *.lua files in your ModScript folder, along with the .lua for any conflicting mods, and then execute BUILDMOD.bat for perfect conflict resolution. Additional information is available at the AMUMSS Guide.
