This is the alternative to the Utopia Station Unlocks for people who just... don't want a bunch of extra clutter.

I was (and still am) really irritated with how annoying the Anomaly vendors are when it comes to trying to buy multiple blueprints without getting kicked out of the menu. So with substantial help from the No Man's Sky Modding Discord, I made this mod to add dialog options for all the trees to the Construction Research Unit. I also renamed it to Anomalous Research Unit because I could. 

AUTHOR'S NOTE:
I made a significant change to how I've implemented this mod. I was never entirely happy with how cheat-y my original implementation felt with everything shoved into the construction blueprint station that you get right from the start. You could unlock fairly advanced tech with very little effort and I wanted a more "vanilla" power curve while still solving the problem of the obnoxious vendors in the Nexus

Starting with v2.0 I've reworked it entirely to put all of the trees on the Utopia Portable Builder Station. The reason for this is mainly that the station is build-locked to your base (and I've added it to be buildable on the freighter as well). The cost is 15 salvage data and it's locked on the tech tree below the save marker and the galactic trade terminal (so 12 to reach it, and 15 to unlock it, totaling 27). I can adjust the cost if I get feedback that it's too high, play testing it getting 27 salvage early on is not that difficult to do.

My thought is that you'll have to visit the Nexus at least once to unlock it and then you can continue to upgrade your research anytime you want from your base (or freighter). Feedback is welcome.

List of features:

  • Custom Legacy Building parts tree added, (includes Wood, Metal, and Concrete)
  • Nexus construction research (Included by default in the station)
  • (Optional) Exosuit, Ship, Multi-Tool, Exocraft, Product and Components research trees added
  • (Optional) Set the price in Nanites for Product and Components research
  • (Optional) toggle Nanite cost on/off (reverts to using factory override units)
  • (Optional) toggle Fleet research (all the research trees that are available on your Freighter are now in the ARU)

Each of these can more or less be independently toggled, if you encounter any weird behavior from a particular combination, file a bug and I'll look at it.

Pak and lua are included, use AMUMSS to merge/recompile to change features, the following files are changed:
