"Maybe we could visit a pub today?" Vilja asked hopefully, watching Raphaela as she hammered away at the white-hot blade on the anvil. The younger girl did not respond. Deeply concentrated on her work she brought the hammer down yet again, causing sparks to fly everywhere.

"You know, you could just have Rohssan at the Fighting Chance repair that for you" the young alchemist continued. " She's really good at fixing stuff."

Raphaela paused for a moment, taking the nord's words into consideration. She knew Rohssan didn't like her very much, not after the failed break-in shortly after her arrival in the Imperial City. Her reputation had increased since then, it was true, but she certainly did not relish the thought of leaving Alcyone in the hands of someone else.

She recalled last night's encounter with the bandit on the Green Road. While he himself hadn't proven much of a challenge, her rapier had been slightly bent after she had nailed him to a nearby oak with it.

"Perhaps I should get you a date?" Vilja playfully asked. "I think Captain Burd in Bruma likes you. Or what about Azzan of the Fighter's Guild in Anvil? He's really cute!" a faint blush spread on the young alchemist's face as she mentioned the handsome redguard.

"I don't date my subordinates" Raphaela answered curtly, resuming her work. Vilja stuck her tongue out at her, rising to her feet. "You really are hopeless. See you at the Wawnet inn later?"

Raphaela gave her a faint smile, nodding.
