"Put fire to the Council Chambers? Have you lost your mind?" Raminus Polus looked appalled, eyeing his young friend with disbelief.

Raphaela stared at him sternly. "And don't forget to blow up the Arch-Mage's Quarters. Preferrably with fireballs. I want a big display of fireworks. Lots of smoke and explosions" she said, matter-of-factly. She had dark circles around her eyes, apparently the late nights locked up in the Mystic Archives recently had taken its toll on both her mind and body, Raminus thought to himself.

"I don't think you fully comprehend how highly irregular and absurd this request is" he muttered. "Not to mention the obvious dangers of blowing up entire levels of magical apparatuses, as well as the obvious financial costs."

"Just make sure everyone is evacuated beforehand" Raphaela told him, handing him a parchment along with a set of keys. "As for the financial costs, I think the Mage's Guild will find this deed to Frostcrag Spire along with its recent upgrades more than sufficient compensation for the damage done to the university."

Raminus grudgefully examined the deed before glancing at the young Arch-Mage. "If Traven had known this would happen, he would shift in his-" he was abruptly interrupted. "As I recall Master Wizard, my predecessor left me in charge of the guild, not you."

The elderly mage glared at her. "As you wish, Arch-Mage. But I warn you, there will be repercussions from this. You will not only have to answer to the Mage Council, but the Imperial Court as well."

Raphaela nodded, a faint smile on her lips. "Which is why I'm stepping down from my position effective immediately after the deed is carried out. Good luck, future Arch-Mage."
