"Isn't the sea just lovely?" Vilja asked, staring out across the shimmering waves of the Abacean. Raphaela smiled, nodding, enjoying the faint breeze on her skin. The two of them had spent all day on the beach, looking for clamshells.

That is - Vilja had been the one looking. Over the past weeks, ever since Raphaela had returned from the Shivering Isles her senses had gradually started detoriating. It had gotten to the point where she no longer could get around without Vilja's help, and she knew that her time on Nirn was gradually coming to an end.

"I wish you didn't have to leave" Vilja said with a sad voice. "I wish we could stay together forever." Raphaela looked in the direction of her voice, offering a melancholic smile. "I used to believe in forever" she said to her friend. "But forever is too good to be true." Vilja gently took her hand, and they sat there in silent contemplation for a while.

Haskill's ritual had been completed at a great cost, but it was better this way, Raphaela thought to herself, tightening the grip on Vilja's hand. The amulet would soon be completed. She just needed to find the right time to--

"Don't you ever miss you know, seeing things?" Vilja asked in that blunt manner that Raphaela had grown so accustomed to. She smiled, shaking her head. "At least now I won't have to fight anymore." she said half-jokingly. "Do you think you will ever come back?" Vilja asked hopefully. Raphaela rested her head on the Nord's shoulder smiling. "Perhaps one day. After all, stranger things have happened."
