   you can just smooth it in editors.
   
   There was a way to make them better in game but i dont remember all.
   iShadow=10 and iShadowMapResolution=4096 can do some tricks but it can pwn fps.
   
   You can also use Nvidia card and let AO create shadows.

   you can always disable it and add it manually with photo-editing if you want

   I wish the self shadows could be fixed somehow, because they have great potential. But sadly, no amount of tweaking, ini editing or graphic cards upgrading can fix something that was broken from the start. :,c
