High Inquisitor Jasmine of the Mythic Dawns 'Holy' Inquisition is a skilled and highly intelligent mage, selected to lead the Inquisition of the Mythic dawn upon it's creation. Her name is whispered on the streets and they dare talk no louder than whispers for she hears all, sees all and knows all. The entrance of her or one of her inquisitors makes a room quickly empty. One will find themselves at her mercy simply for praising any of the Divines, rejecting Mehrunes Dagon and any other act of 'Heresy'.
She almost always wears her patterned inquisitors robe, with the silver hood of Coations inner circle. Her staff is very powerful, and the combined elements are able to kill most targets outright. In battle, she uses her staff as her primary method of attack and defence, complemented by her wide range of spells. Her skill in... 'interrogation' is highly prized by the Dawn, and it is said that she can extract information from all, even those with the strongest of wills
Before the inquisition was formed and she was made High Inquisitor, she was a Chaplin at Ipsumali, well known among the Acolytes for sniffing out any weakness in their faith... and punishing it harshly. This woman is said to have no heart or soul but revels in stealing both via the Inquisitions 'purges' of residents of the empire. Her inquisitors have many undercover informants as well as a system that rewards citizens for reporting the activities of 'Heretics' through which citizens are encouraged to report their neighbors, friends and even family for any 'Heretical' activities. It is not unheard of for children to report their own parents.
Outside of her work as High Inquisitor, it is known her mother is deceased and her father is terminally ill. She is known to have a sister in Chorrol who has been put permanently under the protection of an armed city watch guard following several attempts on her life. Jasmine was born in the city of Leyawiin into a middle class family, her parents joint owned a general goods store and as such the family was comfortably off. At age 16, she left home to become a priestess of the divines, but at the priory she came into contact with the ideals of the mythic dawn rather than the nine, through a young neophyte, Antonius. When it was uncovered that the two were Daedra worshipers, the two fled from the priory. Jasmine made her way across Cyrodiil to the safety of Ipsumali, where she was formally inducted into the ranks of the mythic dawn. Antonius was not so lucky and was arrested by the imperial legion as he made his way along the gold road.
