About this image

A quick test screenie in the IC. The remarkable thing is the FPS counter--53! I've managed to increase my count by an average of 39 FPS--yes, 39--by using RadeonPro and getting CrossFire to work. Even the last of the microstutter is gone. I'm so happy I think I could... sleep. i think I will.

No flickering yet. I have an area with intensive grass where I was getting flickering; I want to load that save tonight. And also travel to the Waterfront, where my FPS plummets, and see how things are there. A new build of RP is due soon; it is supposed to take care of one issue--basically, I need to turn UAC off to get it to work. The program has to reside in one's Users folder. Etc.

Good to hear. A friend of mine has crossfire with some old cards so hopefully your find will be good news for him

I am planning a little guide on how I configured RP, with resource links. We'll see how that goes. One bu ddy I came across in a forum said it took him 18 hours --gasp -- to get it working. Me, about 6. If we can get your friend/others down to a respectable 2 or so, that would be really splendid.

Thanks Tob! I am SOOOOOOOOOOO happy! A couple kinks to work out, and a bit of stress testing (IC Waterfront, here I come... well, tonight.)

Thanks! More grey hair... but once again worth it. Even the normals seem to be better. I don't know if my screencapture actually captures that.
