About this image

So I've officially moved into my new home! It's great; living out in southern U.S. in the mountains on a farm with sheep and turkey, and a lake just a few minutes of a walk away. Wonderful landlords too. I shouldn't really complain, but the internet is horrible... worse than expected. Multiplayer gaming is basically impossible with the lowest ping at 70-something, most all of them 100 or higher. It's a great place to live, but it's hard seeming like I'll have to give up that activity that I spend with my friends. We'll see how well Skype works, but I'm feeling skeptical...

Enough of my blogging and ranting about my personal life xD I hope you enjoy the image and have a wonderful week!

It was worse before the new satellite service, but is still pathetic. Does anyone recall the government requiring the broadband services they licensed to be expanded from the fee rich metropolitan areas into the rural ones in then years, which was 20 years ago?
Some of the people I know get really good broadband up here because they are near a Verizon tower, but we are in a dead space & do not even get cell phone service. They do not even get electricity but have broadband (& solar panels). :-/
But we do have bears, raccoons, wild turkey families, quail, opossums, skunks, deer, etc. And no door to door salesmen. :-)

I dont remember but i wasnt even born if it was 20 years ago xD I'm not surprised though. I dont have many wild animals nearby, but i do have hundreds maybe thousands of fireflies to illuminate the night.

Maybe someday i can enjoy that while playing DayZ

It's pretty cool to live outside the urban areas isn't it? Well except the obvious internet issues (know how you feel XD)

Haha It is a wonderful place to live. It'd be perfect with useable, reliable internet xD Still, I love rural areas
