About this image

Directly above Veyond, the vanilla Blackwood swamps begin, and I ever wondered why this huge amount of water wouldn't simply soak the ground through and bury Veyond and Blankenmarch under a murky landslide. So, here's the reason. I must have been working sloppy though, some water pooled below the dam.
My old PC says sorry for missing distant objects.

I admire your intelligent, well thought out approach to the design of this part of Cyrodiil. All the more reason to keep fingers crossed.

      Glad you like it.
About logic ... there's a 2nd dam at the border to UL Panther River (northern end of the vanilla swamps), and numbskull me noticed half a year after putting it there that it makes absolutely no sense, as it's stuck in the ground curving outwards from the lake. Happy flood catastrophe, Panther River. :o

Really looking forward to exploring this when it's released. I always thought that marsh-on-a-plateau arrangement was a bit odd....

Yeah, it lacks the dry Iand that would be supposed to be around it.
I made up some hints why these lakes may be there, and placed them around the area. On the other hand, never trust a historian wo is both a drunkard, and a Khajiit, when he rambles about Argonians.
