Another area known in fact only from books - because it's missing in game - is the Oblivion planes, isn't it? It's underwhelming that every plane we get to visit in Oblivion looks the same...
Yeah I tought about remaking the non mehrunes planes...ie Boethia and Periyte...maybe later on will do a greater mod but currently I cant script AI the Cs crashes...thats something only a working pc whit XP would fix...but my old chap isn't suitable for grand scale modding I do whit my current set up...
Been thinking about it too myself :D But there are too many other projects to do. You too, focus on this one rather than stretching your time thin. But let the idea simmer ;)
Well i had a few old projects...they are now killed...as was my old oblivion install after reinstall and remod I'll probably finish up 2 new ruins (thats like 4-6 days of work as I have improved whit the CS a lot lately) and then make updates for it again...those ruins will be the ones mentioned in books/lore or making Miscarcand more lively...as it has been on the backburner...then I'll go on a trip to croatia so 1 week off but after that I'll do an alpha for the Oblivion Walker or something like that...it'll be fun to make new envoirments as ancient elven ruins start to get samey...thats the reason I started to break my og goals to keep layouts the same...
I'm with you on how old projects always seem like they could do with an enhancement, but after some time they become too repetitive, and later again they will make you go back to them until they get boring again, and so on...
Croatia is awesome! I love going there for holidays. Some of the most impressive places I've ever seen are there - Krka and Plitvice Lakes are in my top 10. But you should visit Greece too, for the beaches, cuisine, and folklore, if you haven't yet - Corfu, Kefalonia, Crete, and Zakynthos are absolute tops.
Greece? Been there 3 times...in Croatia this will be the 3rd...also the current state of the mod means that it'll need a bit more attention after the break.
