About this image

So I've pieced together a pretty nice looking grindstone for use in windmill interiors.
And have been trying to get it animated for use in Oblivion. Alas my feeble skills in
this area have fallen short.

I've set up animation sequences that were borrowed from community resources. It
plays properly in the Nifskope viewer, just not in-game. I've been trying to solve the
puzzle for weeks now and finally decided to ask for help.

If anyone out there has an understanding of key frame animations and would like to
take a crack at it let me know.

You can also PM it to me. I have experience with getting multi-part animations working. If it works in nifskope and doesn't crash the game I'm sure it's finable. It's just finding the one obscure thing out of about half a dozen you missed.

Have you checked BSX flags on the mesh?

Yes they are set to 11 which allows animation and collision. Same as other animated meshes which are working for me. I suspect it has something to do with the crusher/roller portion but again I'm not skilled enough with animations to figure it out.

It's possible that an animation controller is not linked properly to mesh part, this happens when you copy animation from one model to another (Nifskope is more lenient to such things, but the game itself can be very picky). Hard to tell more without seeing the mesh, maybe if you send it to me I can have a look.

Yeah sure. I'll send it over as soon as I have a free moment. Appreciate any assistance, and constructive criticism lol. Freely admit I was just winging on this.
