Spent the past several days working on the final entry in my animated mill project.
It is a wind powered sawmill with a small shack attachment. 

It has animated wind fan and shafts. The vertical shaft feeds into a shadow box
recessed into the deck, where it connects via rotating gears to a horizontal shaft.
These are visible through a perforated grate covering the recessed area.

That portion gives the appearance of a power system leading to the sawblade
assembly. Underneath the saw table is another recessed box with animated gear
protruding through the deck. This connects with the animated gears contained in
the saw table assembly. All in all a very nice visual system if I do say so.

Some of you may recall seeing this in the previous pics that were uploaded. It came
from a free 3d model site in a very low quality state. Originally it had a belt and pulley
plus gears system which sat on the deck and tied directly to the saw. I scrapped that
system because it was very awkward (and I couldn't begin to figure out animating the
belt system).
